Filling a trough

Hi! I'm Nurzhan. In the 2nd example of related rates topic close to the end of the video you made a correction saying that you'd forgotten that "h=3". Don't you need to review from the step 2 taking into account that the vaue of "h" is known aready? I'm just stuck here.

Good Question!

In steps 1. and 2. we are doing things in general, which means that no matter what value we put in for h our work will still be correct. So once we do all the general work at the very end we plug in our value for h to find a specific answer.
