Hi from Texas

Hi. I'm Bob. I live in Austin TX, but the company I work for is 1300 miles away in Long Beach CA. We're the main company behind MathJax, the open source means of displaying math on RootMath. I'm here for a couple of reasons. One, I wanted to see how well the MathJax implementation is working. Here's an equation to try it out: \(r = \sqrt {{x^2} + {y^2}}
% MathType!MTEF!2!1!+-

\). Pretty cool. Trying something else here: \[r = \sqrt {{x^2} + {y^2}}

\] And one more time: \(r = \sqrt {{x^2} + {y^2}}
% MathType!MTEF!2!1!+-
% feaagGart1ev2aqatCvAUfeBSjuyZL2yd9gzLbvyNv2CaerbqfgBHr

\). (Tired of circles yet? ) Seriously, the markup behind each of those equations is different from the others.
Another reason I'm here is because we're building capability into our other product, MathType, such that you can create equations in MathType and paste them directly here (without clicking the LATEX button). I'm not here to sell you MathType, but in the event you already have it, look for this capability in MathType 6.9 for Windows, and also in whatever version for Macintosh comes next.
Any questions about MathJax or MathType, feel free to DM me.
